Hosting an Outing
If you'd like to host an event not in a home and not in a restaurant,
here are some steps to take.
Decide on what type of event.
Choose a date.
Do you want to co-host it with another couple?
Choose the start time (and end time if applicable). Include travel
time, and how long the event will probably last.
Determine the meeting place, if not the final destination for the
event, and get driving directions.
What do people need to bring? Food, drinks, ball, ball, bike, knitting
needles?
Cost per person. Any deposits required? What does this cost include?
Suggested dress. (Is the pink chiffon one acceptable?)
Is there a limit to the number of guests.
Deadline by which couples must RSVP.
Contact the Events Couple to confirm the date and time. They will ask
you about the event to make sure all the details are covered and communicated
in the newsletter properly.
